Nady El-Shal

BA Modern History, Economic History and Politics (Royal Holloway, University of London)

After managing the office facilitation of the EcoEnergy Resettlement Action Plan in Bagamoyo, Tanzania, Nady has taken over the role of a field manager. He is responsible to deliver IDC’s participatory consultation programmes and to monitor wellbeing of Project Affected Persons. When not out in the field Nady spends most of his time liaising with the client and local and national government officials to achieve a compliant resettlement process according to IFC and World Bank standards.¬†Previous experience includes operations management, business development and fundraising for various enterprises in the UK. Fluent in Rumanian and well versed in Eastern European culture and history Nady has also worked as a researcher for an investment company in Rumania.
