BA Sociology, University of Dodoma
Ibrahim joined IDC in October 2011 after completing a degree in sociology at the university of Dodoma, Tanzania. Starting as a field intern working on a socio- economic baseline study with 400 households in coastal Tanzania he now serves as a junior field consultant. This role includes leading focus group discussions, community meetings and consultation sessions. Ibrahim has managed sub projects and trains new interns. Before joining IDC Ibrahim worked as a teaching assistant at Jamhuri High School and organised the HIV/Aids week for UNCHAPTERS in Dar es Salaam. Ibrahim received several awards and participated in training courses given by the UN and other major organisations. His interests cover society, leadership, research, strategic planning, advocacy, events planning and management. Ibrahim is fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
